How can we help?
Answers to common questions, what Zane’s light is telling you, and how to reach us.
Check the light on top of Zane
In the app, open your Zane and tap Why is it offline? It walks you through the same steps.
No light
Zane isn’t getting power. Check the plug and the socket, or try another socket. It comes back by itself, with all its settings.
Red light, internet down
If your router is off or the internet is down, there is nothing to change on Zane. It reconnects as soon as the internet is back.
Red light, new Wi-Fi
Changed your Wi-Fi name or password? Open the app and tap Reconnect to give Zane the new details.
Your internet works
If your Wi-Fi works and Zane still shows offline, the problem is on our side. Write to us and we’ll look into it.
Questions, answered
What do I need to get started?
Your home Wi-Fi, a power socket and the Hey Zane app on iPhone or Android. That’s all.
How are prayer times calculated?
Zane works them out for your city with the method your community follows: ISNA, Muslim World League, Egyptian General Authority or Umm Al-Qura, with Standard or Hanafi Asr. You can add your mosque’s iqama times too.
Can my family use it too?
Yes. Invite your family from the app, and everyone at home can see and use your Zanes.
What happens if my Wi-Fi changes?
If only the router was off, Zane reconnects by itself. If the Wi-Fi name or password changed, open the app and give Zane the new details.
Still need help?
Write to us, or in the app open your Zane and tap Get help to send its logs with your message.
